AEP Netilla SSL VPN Overview

The AEP Netilla Platform
The Simple, Secure SSL VPN Solution

Netilla SSL VPNThe AEP Netilla SSL VPN helps companies satisfy one of their most pressing needs: Making business applications remotely available to
employees and partners.

With the Netilla SSL VPN, remote users can quickly and securely reach the varied resources found in today's IT environment, including Microsoft Outlook, Windows Terminal Servers and server-based applications, as well as client/server applications over an SSL tunnel.

A Secure Application Access Gateway for Your Business

The Netilla SSL VPN ships with an "unlimited" user license and supports both large and small user communities according to four different capacity appliances. Additionally, the Netilla SSL VPN with Federal Information Processing Standards (FIPS) support is designed to provide secure remote access to highly confidential data to meet the most stringent U.S., Canadian and U.K. security standards.

The Netilla® SSL VPN Virtual Edition (VE) ships with a blanket annual per-site license which includes unlimited virtual machines (VMs) and unlimited concurrent user counts.

AEP IDpoint™ Interoperability - Extending Identity to the Network Edge

AEP Netilla enterprise and mid-range SSL VPNs offer tight integration with
AEP IDpoint, extending identity-based access control to remote users. This approach embeds AEP PacketTag technology into the TCP/IP frame as a "digital fingerprint" which is used to compare user identity to resource access policy.

"If it hadn’t been for Netilla, doctors and labs wouldn’t have been able to connect with the hospital. By setting up remote access, we lessened the ‘life or death’ situation...this was a great lesson in disaster recovery."
